As such, we are seeking an experienced Director of Finance and Administration to work closely with the owners and provide guidance and counsel on a broad range of business, financial, strategic, and operational issues. Working in a team environment within our Abbotsford office, the incumbent will not only lead the accounting, administration and information technology teams, but also be a role model for our cultural and ethical values.The financial function is the heart of this position and includes: Providing overall direction and management of accounting, reporting, invoicing, budgeting, forecasting, banking and project reporting. Ensuring financial information integrity and compliance to all regulatory requirements. Driving ongoing improvements within financial and project costing systems and processes. In addition to a Degree, this position requires a CA or CMA designation as well as a minimum of 10 years of progressive financial management experience (relevant industry experience is preferred). You are exceptional at problem solving combined with the demonstrated ability to connect strategy to executable financial plans and then make them happen. You effectively communicate with people of varied experiences and backgrounds and possess the ability to lead, and build strong relationships across the organization. As well as having cost and project accounting experience, strong knowledge of integrated financial and operational management information systems is critical to successfully manage the IT function. Previous ERP systems implementation is a plus.
